Reclaimed Hardwood Shadow Paneling
When you want a more textured barnwood look, Atlanta Barnwood Hardwood Shadow Paneling is the material to provide all the weathered character of true-reclaimed. This material has intended variation in thickness and the classic, naturally distressed patina associated with aged barn siding in the Midwest US. The paneling is re-sawn from 1" thick barn siding. We recommend gluing or face nailing, or both.
Species: A mix of beech, hickory, elm, ash, poplar, maple, walnut, others.
Colors: Available in a complex mix of gray, brown, white, black, blonde and red.
Net Dimensions: Variable thickness 1/4 to 1/2” x mixed widths 3-4-5" x 1' to 4’ random lengths.
Millwork: Re-sawn, straight line ripped on 2 edges (R2E) with original weathered face lightly brush sanded.
Character: Mill run hardwoods with weathered patina, occasional unfilled nail and other holes, occasional sound and missing knots, occasional surface seasoning checks, discolorations, occasional end splits and other signs of previous history and use.
Finish: None. In most cases, you can add a fire retardant as needed.
